Constance F. “Connie” Wood, 73, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at ManorCare Healthcare Center, Easton. She was the wife of James Wood, with whom she shared over 52 years of loving marriage. Born in Fountain Hill, Connie was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Florence (Frey) Fatzinger. She worked for the tax office of the city of Bethlehem for many years. Connie loved to read and was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother for her family. Connie was a member of Trinity UCC church in Bethlehem. Survivors: husband James; daughter Lisa Sterner and husband Dennis of Bethlehem; son Mark Wood and wife Lisa of Pen Argyl; granddaughter Carly Wood; brother James Fatzinger of Winston-Salem, NC. Connie was predeceased by her sister, Lynnette Tewell.
