Passed away Monday afternoon June 3, 2019. Connie was born December 9, 1945, in Kalamazoo, Michigan a daughter of James and Beverly (Matyas) Morgan. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with K.T.S. industries for 10 years before retiring.
Connie was also a member of Lighthouse Community Church and taught Sunday School for 4 years. She loved the Lord with all her heart and studied the Bible every day. Connie loved to swim, and exercise to keep her body strong. She enjoyed crocheting, specifically for a program called the Alternatives.
Connie loved to make baby booties and bibs to match blankets for newborns. She also exercised her brain each day with a crossword puzzle. When not crocheting, she enjoyed a heartfelt hallmark movie. Connie was a creative individual and enjoyed painting classes with her daughters. She used to love to dance with her husband about 20 years ago, square dancing was her favorite. Her family was one of the most important things in her life, she enjoyed spending time with each child and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Cheryl Parise. On December 20, 1976, she was united in marriage to Nicholas “Nazier” J. Koubaitary who survives. Also surviving, 5 children, Laurie (Rick) Fowler of Vicksburg, Tim (Lyndsey) McGrail of Comstock, Cindy Beachey of Three Rivers, Gabriel (Summer) Koubaitary of Kalamazoo, and Nathanael (Ashley) Koubaitary of Lawrence; 12 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; her father, James Morgan of Boca Raton, FL; her step-father, William Fair; 2 brothers, Larry (Kelly) Mallory of Lawton and Steven (Angie) Mallory of Mattawan; a sister, Diane (John) Luhring of San Jose, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
