Constance “Connie” Ann Owen, 67, of Greenwood, passed away, Tuesday, February 19, 2019. She was born to the late John and Nadine (Worrall) Grogan Sr. on March 30, 1951 in Jacksonville, Illinois.
Connie spent her life as a homemaker. She loved all types of music, flowers, history and poetry. Connie was a member of Foundation Life Bible Church. She loved going to bible study, praying, and writing encouraging letters. Connie spent her time reading and studying the Word of God and loved discussing and sharing it with others. She was generous to all, loving, and independent. Even with her trials, she was positive and looked forward to the day she would dance.
Connie is survived by her husband, Stephen Owen of Greenwood; her children, Mariah (Marc) Sirkin of Greenwood and Heidi (Michael) Ellyson of Indianapolis; her brothers, Jesse (Kathleen) Grogan of Lafayette, John T. (Becky) Grogan Jr. of Rockford, Illinois, and Tim (Ellen) Grogan of Melbourne, Florida; her grandchildren, Lee and Micah Ellyson, and Emma, Joshua, and Noah Sirkin; her sisters-in-law, Maribeth Alspach and Lisa Campbell; and her mother-in-law, Betty Jo Owen.
