Waterbury – Mrs. Constance (Carvalho) Carreiro, age 91, formerly of Naugatuck, died Monday January 19, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was the widow of William D. Carreiro, Sr. Mrs. Carreiro was born in Fall River, Ma. on March 9, 1923 daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Garcia) Carvalho. Mrs. Carreiro is survived by a daughter: Marilyn Mooter and her husband James of Prospect, grandchildren: Tanya Grala and her husband Daniel of Torrington and Jodi Roundtree and her husband Tony of Oakville, Rebecca Carreiro and Damian Carreiro and great grandchildren: Nicholas, Pike, Brenna, Anthony and William. She was predeceased by two sons: David and Francis Carreiro. Mrs. Carreiro’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the nurses and staff of O’Brien 7 at St. Mary’s Hospital for the wonderful compassionate care that they provided.
