Constance A. (Gamache) Rheault

1920-2013

On Sunday January 13, 2013, Constance A. (Gamache) Rheault went peacefully to her new home with Jesus. She will join her Beloved Husband Leo and those she loved who have gone before her. Her Parents Fred and Blanche Gamache, her brothers Jules and Melvin, her many aunts, uncles and godchild Marie.

She also leaves behind her sister Annette and husband Ed, her brother Roger and wife Jeanne, her sons Leo and wife Brenda, Richard and his wife Charlotte, and Bill and his wife Debra. Her daughters Annette and husband Andy, and Michele and her husband Dennis, grandchildren Kevin, Lesley, Jennifer, Jason, Billy, Stacey, Colin, Sarah, and Cassandra. She also leaves behind 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Connie was vibrant, vital, and always on the move. She loved music, dance, and song, she participated in many shows in her high school days and well into her retirement in Florida. She led exercise classes, bringing health and well being to all who joined her. She played bass drum in the Ft. Pierce Bagpipe Corps in Florida till the age 83 . St. Patrick’s Day will never be the same. Many a Midnight Mass would find her on the tympani drums during the service. She was on her treadmill even at age ninety plus years of age.

She worked side by side with her husband and sons in the hardware store owned by the family until retirement while still maintaining, a loving household with all it entailed. She was one of the first “working moms” who could do it all.

The Family’s only solace will be knowing that her love for God and Jesus brought her to Heaven where she will probably be dancing, singing and banging the bass drum. Here on earth those of us remaining will miss the love we received each and every day from Connie who gave so much each and every day of her life.
