Conrad W. Connie Loebach, 87, of Leonore, died Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Illinois Veterans Home in LaSalle. Conrad was born July 24, 1922 in rural Tonica to Conrad and Mary (Salz) Loebach. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WW II, serving in the South Pacific. He married Norma Urbanski on September 11, 1948 in St. Hyacinths Church in LaSalle. He retired from Sundstrand.
Mr. Loebach was a member of the St. Peter and Paul Church and sang in the church choir for many years. He was a member of the Senior Bowling league at the Super Bowl in Peru.
He is survived by his wife Norma, two daughters Mary Ellen (Larry) Goodbred of Tonica, and Beth (Paul) Schmitt, of El Paso, IL, and two sons Michael (June) Loebach of St. Charles, Missouri, and Patrick (Rebecca) Loebach, of Peoria, 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Pauline Arkels, of Peru, and Frances Myers, of Ottawa, one brother, Norbert (Joann) Loebach, of Peru.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters, and five brothers.
