On December 12, 1939, Conrad Bert Gulliford was born to Clifford and Elizabeth Gulliford in La Junta, Colorado. On September 7, 2021, he went home to be with his Lord and Savior.

Conrad grew up in Cotopaxi, Colorado, where he roamed the hillside hunting and fishing. He loved to play basketball at Cotopaxi High School and later at USC in Pueblo, where he attended college. While in high school, he met the love of his life, Sharon Kay Adams, and they were married 59 years. They raised two children, Tandi and Devin, in Monte Vista. Conrad, with his family, owned and operated the Monte Vista Livestock Auction while farming and ranching in the San Luis Valley. He also honorably served in the Army National Guard in Canon City, Colorado.

Conrad loved all sports and competing, golf tournaments taking him across the state. In 2007 Conrad and Sharon retired to be closer to their son and grandchildren in Mineral Wells, Texas. In 2021 they returned to Fremont County where they lived.

Conrad is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; daughter, Tandi (Bart) Gulliford-Pachak; son, Devin (Michelle) Gulliford; sister, Winonna Hearst; brother-in-law, Tim York; grandchildren, Megan (Tegan) York and Garrett (Morgan) Gulliford; and great-grandchildren, Levi, Carson, Keith, and Charlotte. He also had many nieces, nephews, and friends who were truly dear to him.

Conrad was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Elizabeth Gulliford; brother, Clifford “Sonny” (Mildred) Gulliford; sister, Patsy York; and brother-in-law, Lefty Hearst.
