Connie V. Harnick, age 73, a resident of Albuquerque for 50 years, died October 30, 2021. She is survived by her mother, Alida Vandergeest; her husband, David; her children Matthew and Kari; one grandchild, James; her sisters, Jackie, Joanne, and Judy; brothers, Jake, Jim, and Johnny (and all of their spouses). She was preceded in death by her father, Jacob; and her sister Lida.
Connie graduated from the University of Albuquerque with a degree in accounting with honors. She became a CPA and worked for Arthur Anderson in Denver and Pete Marwick in Albuquerque before going into private practice, where she was an in-house CPA for a large group of surgeons. However, she was best known in the tennis community.
