Connie Sue Albright, age 80, died peacefully in the care of her husband at the Laurels of Hudsonville, on March 2, 2024, and was called home to spend eternity with the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a resident of Hudsonville, and a former resident of Lowell and Ovid, Michigan. She was born on March 25, 1943, to Charles and Maxine Berry in Pontiac, Michigan. Her roots grew deep in Whitehall, where she nurtured her love for music, singing in the choir, playing basketball, and developing her passion to help others. And sing, Connie did, sharing her voice in talent contests with her siblings and harmonizing with her father. Connies zest for life and unwavering spirit were contagious, a testament to her fearless nature and love for those around her.Making her home in Ovid, Connie was married to William Dennis until his passing in 1994. They raised three sons amidst the joyous chaos of a full basketball court and serving as a teacher at Grove Christian School. It was here where she formed many lifelong friendships that she cherished throughout her life. Fondly remembered as the neighborhoods second mother, her home was always open, Sunday fellowship spilling over from church to her living room, where she served coffee and endless encouragement. She reached out to neighborhood kids taking them to Sunday school, vacation bible school and church, partaking in their games of basketball and always willing to lend an ear to those in need.
