Connie Ray Hammond passed away November 15, 2021. She was born December 27, 1951 in Ogden, Utah to Devon E. Jensen and Lorraine J. Sandberg Jensen. She graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1969 and attended Weber State University and Utah State University.
Connie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a mission in Minneapolis/St. Paul Mission in 1976. She served as a Sunday School and Primary teacher. She loved the church.
Connie married James Kent Hammond in the Ogden LDS Temple on November 8, 1984.
Connie had a beautiful voice and loved to sing, she played the piano, she enjoyed doing crafts, baking and cooking, playing card games and loved taking care of kids and her husband. She loved spending time with her family. Though she had many challenges in her life she stayed strong to the end.
She was preceded in death by her father; twin sister Bonnie Kay East; brothers Randy Blair Jensen and Michael Andrew Jensen; daughters Katie Beth, Hanna and Lindsey Hammond; son Jordan Kimble Hammond and brother-in-law Craig J. Hammond.
Connie is survived by her husband of 37 years James Kent Hammond; her mother Lorraine; sons Jon Hammond, Josh Hammond; siblings Terry Dean Jensen, Debbie Criddle, Kelly Lee Jensen, James L. (Robyn) Jensen, and many nieces and nephews.
