Connie Marie Thelen, age 75, passed away to be with her Heavenly Father on October 21, 2022. Her husband and two daughters were by her side at her Albuquerque, NM home.
Connie was born on March 2, 1947. She grew up in a countryside Virginia home with her parents Horace Garland and Hazel Marie White and her three younger siblings Jean, Buddy, and Jerry. Upon graduating from high school, she left her countryside home in Virginia and moved to Minnesota where she studied nursing and met her husband, Donald Thelen. The two eventually settled in Farmington, NM where they raised two daughters, Melanie, and Tara.
Connie was preceded in death by her father, Horace Garland White; mother, Hazel Marie White; and brother, Buddy White.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Thelen; daughters, Melanie Thelen and Tara Thelen; granddaughters, Teagan Mills and Tylar Montoya; sister, Jean Tabor and brother, Jerry White; as well as, many extended family and friends.
