Connie was very loved by her family, friends and housemates.
She was her mother’s pride and joy. Our mother’s influence on Connie’s life was very evident. Connie was a gentle, kind, loving, and generous spirit.
Some of Connie’s favorite things were: watching old classic tv shows, bowling, bingo, Uno cards, animals mostly dogs, making coasters, and candy.
She loved Mexican and Italian food, which would be evident with every bite being followed with “umm!”
Her favorite game by far was Uno, which she played almost daily, and often by herself! If you asked her if she was winning, she would say, “yes!”
Connie’s smile was infectious, and she truly enjoyed life.
Her needs were simple.

Connie lived at Ivy Cottage group home for more than 15 years, and loved her friends there. It was home.
Catherine and Dee Dee were very close to Connie, and they say it will never be the same there without her. Catherine refers to Connie as her white soul, and that there will never be another one like her.
Connie was indeed a white soul. While I’m sure Connie is excited and happy to be in heaven, free of her ailments, and reunited with her mom and dad, she will be deeply missed.
We lost her way too soon, and she will be remembered with much love.
