After a brave and painful battle, Connie Mae Maestas left this earth to take her place among the angels on June 1, 2014. She was born March 8, 1938 to Bertha Elizabeth Hollinger and Marion Lilly in Concordia Kansas. Connie’s journey in life led her on many paths. Connie’s sense of humor, her kindheartedness and her laughter instilled a passion for life in all who knew and loved her. Her greatest pride was her family. Married to the love of her life, Raymond Maestas for forty years, Connie left behind her beloved, five children who cherished her; Debbie (Steve) Channel, Kenneth (Chris) Budd, Keith (Deena) Budd, Denise Budd and Roy (Joanna) Budd. Connie left a large legacy with 48 grand, great grand and great- great grand children who all loved their “Nana” very much. She enjoyed dancing, laughing and serving others.
