Connie Faye Michel, 50, of Newton, formerly of Ottumwa, died on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Connie, the daughter of Gerald and Bertha (Fitzgerald) Roberts, was born on September 12, 1967 in Ottumwa. She lived most of her life in Ottumwa before moving to Newton four years ago.
Connie is survived by her children, Anita Michel of Clearwater, Florida, Anthony Michel (finance Ashley Smith) of Waterloo, Margaret Widger of Ottumwa, Cynthia Henry of Athens, Tennessee, and Theresa Milstead of Ottumwa; 10 grandchildren; three brothers, Alan (Vickie) Price of Grapevine, Texas, Paul Price of Oskaloosa, and Gene (Tami) Roberts of Oskaloosa; her nieces and nephews; significant other, Chuck Drake of Newton; and her best friend, Lisa Anderson and her family of Ottumwa.
