Connie Beus Freestone, Dec. 15, 1941, departed this life on May 26, 2019, surrounded by her family. She is the daughter of Henry and Wanda Beus, Clinton, UT. On July 8, 1980, she married the love of her life, Howard Freestone, marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple. Together they had four children; Bart (deceased), Kristie (Steve) Jacobsen (deceased), Blaine (Kristen) and Kathie (Mike) Averett. She was a wonderful grandmother to her 7 grandkids and 14-3/4 great-grandchildren. She is survived by siblings; Dean (Verla), Keith (Linda) Beus and DyAnn (Guy) Voorhies and her special sister-in-law Sharon Freestone. She also had many nieces and nephews that she was special to.
As a Grandma and second Mom to all of kids, she was always willing to take care of the babies, as they held a special place in her heart. She was foundational rock in the family and always ensured that everyone was invited to various family events including, parades, Easter parties and the famous Freestone family Christmas party that she would start preparing for the day after Christmas. She was an avid camper and fisherman, loved her Tiawana Taxi (UTV) and four wheeling with the family. Deer camp was something that the family cherished. She loved treasure hunting at the thrift stores and you could always find her at the ball game.
