Connie Ann Hadlock, 64, of Jacksonville, IL, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2019, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 6, 1954, in Bedford, OH, the daughter of Kenneth Francis and Shirley Lee King Hadlock.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Sara Hadlock of Jacksonville; and they had five daughters, Hope Hadlock, Faith Hadlock, Mia Hadlock, Julissa Howle, and Aleena Hadlock (deceased). Connie’s birth parents had three other children, Penny Yahr, Mike Hadlock, and Kenneth Hadlock (deceased). Her father remarried and had three more children, Paul Hadlock, Carol Hadlock Miller and Cathy Hadlock Davis. Her mother remarried and had one more child, Tommy McGraw.
Connie was an amazing grandmother who gave up her life for her grandchildren. When the girls did not want to get up to go to school, she would say “You’d better hurry and get up for the Morning Hugs or that store will be closed soon.” She was well loved by her grandchildren. She enjoyed her triple chocolate cake and making sugar-coated strawberries for her granddaughters. She also loved her cats, who are with her right now, Sunny and Angel.
