Concha (Lopez) Salinas, 82, of Belton passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020 at Baylor-Scott and White Hospital in Temple after a brief illness.
Concha was born on January 27, 1938 in George West, Texas to Serafin and Senaida (Arcida) Lopez. She married Isael Salinas on September 14, 1955 in Waxahachie, Texas and they were married for more than 65 years before she passed away. Mrs. Salinas moved to the Bell County area in 1972. She was a homemaker and was a longtime member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton.
Mrs. Salinas was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Jose Louis Salinas. Survivors include her husband Isael of Belton, daughter Carmen (Antonio) Guiterrez of Georgetwon; son Isael (Liz) Salinas of La Marque; son Eulalio (Maggie) Salinas of Belton; daughter Nieves (Alex) Mendoza of Belton; daughter Sandy Salinas of Belton; son Freddy (Janie) Salinas of Temple; daughter Elvira (Johnny) Hernandez of Temple; and son Lucio Salinas of Temple. Also surviving are 27 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
