Concetta “Connie” (Parise) Granski, 93, of New Britain, died April 29, 2015 in Farmington, CT where she was a resident at Arden Courts. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna Parise. She was the beloved wife for 25 years to Joseph A. Granski DDS who predeceased her in January, 2001. Born in Plainville, CT, she was a life-long resident of New Britain. She was a graduate of Central Connecticut State University, then Teacher’s College of Connecticut, and later obtained her master’s degree from Wesleyan University. She had a lengthy career as a kindergarten teacher, which was both a commitment and love for her. Connie had many interests in life, but her real passion was for the arts. She was an avid reader and a perpetual student. She spent many summers studying abroad in Italy both furthering her education and painting. She was a woman of grace and style and a volunteer and contributor to the New Britain Museum of American Art. A loving and devoted stepmother, Connie leaves Susan Kapuchinski and her husband, Dr. Stanley Kapuchinski of Punta Gorda, Fl., Joseph A. Granski, Jr.
