Maria Conceicao Da Cunha Figueiredo passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a long illness on Tuesday February 19, 2013. She was 90 years old and the beloved wife of Miguel M. Figueiredo “Alfaiate” to whom she was married to for over 63 years. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Ernesto Monteiro, Madalena Rego and her husband Joao, Joe Figueiredo and Irene Faria and her husband Frank all of Stoughton. Other survivors include 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also a mother to the late Joao Cunha Monteiro and a sister to the late Maria J. Resendes, Emilia Da Cunha, Manuel Da Cunha and Antonio Da Cunha.
Born on December 7, 1922 in Sao Pedro, Santa Maria Acores was the last of 5 children born to the late Joao and Jacinta Resendes Cunha. She was a resident of Stoughton for over 42 years.
