Colleen Ann “Suzie” (Trestrail) Wolfe, 83, of LaSalle, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru. She was born March 14, 1936 in LaSalle to Clifford and Catherine (Hanlon) Trestrail. She was a 1954 graduate of LaSalle-Peru High School.
She married Albert F. Wolfe on May 4, 1957 at St. Patrick’s Church, LaSalle and celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2007. Albert passed away August 13, 2007.She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, LaSalle where she sang in the choir.
She was president of the Peru American Legion Auxiliary and was active in the Peru Eagles Auxiliary and the Illinois Valley Christian Women’s Club. Survivors include her daughter, Theresa Wolfe of LaSalle; her son, Robert Wolfe of LaSalle, four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Pallbearers will be Jacob Urbanc, Casey Campbell, Nolan Wolfe, Dave Milus, Mike Cioni and Lanny Slevin.
