Colleen OMara Dalton, 67, died Sunday, December 20, 2015 in Oxford, MS..M….Born to the late Emmett and Elizabeth Brady OMara in McComb, MS, Mrs. Dalton graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelors degree in Education. While at the University of Southern Mississippi, Colleen was a member of the Delta Delta Delta Social fraternity. She was “Miss Southern”, captain of the Dixie Darlings, and member of the homecoming court, and voted class beauty. Colleen always had a smile on her face and a sparkle in her eyes. Although Colleen lived most of her life in Mississippi, she also lived in Memphis, where she greeted children each day on the morning television show “Romper Room.” She retired as a legal assistant from Pittman, Germany, Roberts & Welsh in Jackson, MS. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kay is survived by her husband, Sam E. Bo Dalton of Oxford, MS; two sons, Marcus McDonald and his wife, Ashley, of Nashville, TN and Mitchell McDonald of Tuscaloosa, AL and a granddaughter, Marigny McDonald of Nashville, red!
