Colleen Lorraine Dives Graves passed away December 3, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a beautiful and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Colleen grew up in Malad, Idaho with her parents, five siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, whom she greatly loved. She graduated from Malad High School and attended Colorado Women’s College in Denver, Colorado.

Colleen married the love of her life, Allen W. Graves, on September 20, 1963, in the Logan, Utah Temple. Together they raised seven children. She loved music, cooking, learning, and participating in her prominent literary book club and Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She was a substitute teacher in Morgan, Utah and enjoyed teaching piano lessons in Castle Rock, Colorado. Colleen loved her family and made each child feel like they were the favorite. She loved serving others and could never say no. She was a great teacher and had never-ending patience. Her generous heart continuously brought joy to those around her. Her warmth, love and kindness will never be forgotten.

Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo and Lorraine Dives, her sister Connie Budge, her daughter-in-law, Laura Parker Graves and grandchildren, Kaleb, Kelsey and Cameron Graves.

She is survived by her husband Allen Graves and the families of her seven children: Curtis (Emily) Graves, Lori (Jim) Barkes, Beth (Bill) Winsor, Steven (Julie) Graves, Ron Graves, Jerry (Megan) Graves, and Shannon (Chris) Moralez, 33 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren, as well as her siblings: Linda Call, Larry (Cindy) Dives, Michael Dives, and Nancy (Dave) Decker.

Colleen’s family is so thankful for the outpouring of love and kindness they have received through these difficult months, as so many have looked after our angelic wife, mother and friend.
