Colleen Kay Maneke, of Chesaning,died on April 6, 2024, at the age of 56.Colleen was born on May 14, 1967, the daughter of Daniel Ruddy and Jane (Ebenhoeh) Ruddy. She graduated high school, and went on to achieve her bachelors degree in business management. She worked as an administrator for St. Roberts Catholic Church, as well as teaching many generations of piano lessons for over 30 years. She was a very gifted pianist, and enjoyed sharing her passion for music by teaching others. She married her late husband and the love of her life, Christopher Maneke, on September 18, 2021. He preceded her in death in 2023.Colleen loved her family and friends. She took pride in watching her children and grandchildren grow, along with her piano students, whom she thought of as her own. She enjoyed crafting and attending craft shows, her beloved dog, Mandy, and playing the piano. She especially loved the Christmas season and all the activities it brought, watching Hallmark movies, making rock candy which she shared with anyone she could, driving around to see Christmas lights, baking holiday treats, and decorating. Colleen was instantly loved by everyone who met her, and she will be greatly missed.Colleen is survived by her children, Krystle (David) Ptasnik, Kacie (Tanner) Niedecken, Cory (Elisabeth) Harris; step-children, Robert and Steven Maneke; grandchildren, Clay and Chase Niedecken, and Beckham Harris; father, Daniel Ruddy; siblings, Diane (Dave) Wolbert, Dave (Karen) Ruddy, Maureen Ruddy, Brian (Becky) Ruddy, Jim (Lynn) Ruddy, Pat (Tanya) Ruddy, Ray (Michelle) Ruddy; and beloved dog, Mandy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Christopher Maneke; mother, Jane Ruddy; siblings, Mike Ruddy, and Danielle Parks.
