Colleen (Hanley) Freeburg, 89, of Ottawa, formerly of Hoffman Estates, died on Sunday night, February 17, 2019 at Pleasant View in Ottawa. Colleen was born on March 3, 1929 in St. Louis, MO, to Fred C. and Irene (Temmer) Hanley. She married Arthur H. Freeburg on May 29, 1948 in St. Louis. She was a member of The Orchard Community Church in Arlington Heights.
She is survived by 4 children, Rebecca (Eldon) Roth, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Arthur H. Freeburg, Jr., of Farmington, MO, Daniel F. (Ruth Anne) Freeburg, of Mobridge, SD, and Jonathan (Robin) Freeburg, of Ottawa, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and a brother, Jeremiah (Venda) Hanley, of Springfield, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Arthur, in 2013.
