Colin Miles Peecher, 73, of Centennial, Colorado, passed away, June 21, 2017 in St Joseph’s Hospital, Phoenix, Arizona. Born November 16, 1943, in Presbyterian Hospital in Englewood, Colorado, Colin graduated from Englewood High School in 1961. He then joined the Colorado National Guard where he served for 4 years as a crypto operator. He married Charlotte Gay Conrad on January 30, 1970, at the First Methodist Chapel on the Denver University campus in Denver, Colorado. They lived in Centennial for 47 years. Following in his father’s footsteps, Gordon S. Peecher, Colin worked as a glass estimator for several glass shops in the Denver area An avid Denver University hockey fan, he had season tickets for 48 years, following the team around the US for many tournaments and NCAA Championship games. He was also on the board one year for selecting a new coach for the Denver team. Colin served on several CAHA junior hockey boards as well as a scout master. He was also a lifelong Yankee fan. He leaves behind his wife, Charlotte Gay Peecher of Centennial; sons, Erik Peecher (Nikki Bloedow) of Des Moines, Iowa, and Brady Peecher (Amy Lear) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; Grandson, Austin Peecher of Highlands Ranch; Reagan Peecher, also of Highlands Ranch; brother, Monte Peecher (Carol) of Englewood, twin sister, Coleen (Dennis) Hixon of Tucson, Arizona, and niece, Denise (James) Terpstra of Peoria, Arizona. Colin is preceded in death by his parents Florence and Gordon Peecher.
