Colin Jenks, age 78 years, of Plymouth, died at his home on Saturday, November 21, 2020. Born in Taunton, on January 17, 1942, he was the son of the late Grace Jenks. Colin studied piping design at the North Bennett Street Industrial School in Boston, and went on to work for Bechtel Corporation, the Badger Company and for the Stone and Webster Company as a top designer. A champion pool player, Colin excelled playing in leagues in the Pembroke, Plymouth and Wareham areas. He loved saltwater fishing, and could always be found with a good book in his down time. Colin had a great, dry sense of humor, and enjoyed gifting his family and friends the funniest gadgets for any and all occasions, especially Christmas. He is survived by his two daughters Amelia and Jessie Jenks of Plymouth, his grandson Liam Berkeley, his former wife and friend of 56 years Carol Ann Jackson, his best friend Ilde Rice and her family, and his beloved cat Amber, along with many family members and friends from all over. He, along with his quick wit and ability to make his friends and family laugh, will be greatly missed.
