Colin Harris passed gently from his earthly life in the early hours of May 15, 2016, in the peacefulness of his home and in the presence of his beloved family. He was born in Newnan on August 6, 1942, to the late J. Y. and Bonnie Harris.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, John Patrick Harris. Surviving Colin is his wife of 55 years, Syble Marks Harris; his son and daughter-in-law Mark and Gail Harris. He was a proud grandfather to Matthew, Daniel, and Sara Beth. His great-grandchildren are Hunter and Savannah. Also, surviving are his aunt and friend Dean Perry and his mother-in-law, Sara Marks. He has two sisters Dawn and her husband Robert Harris; Sue and Joel Smith. There is a large extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
