Colette Jefferson Shirley, 81, of Newnan died Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at Metropolitan Hospice in Marietta. She was born January 7, 1926, in Belmont, NC to the late William McCoy Jefferson & Flonie Stowe Jefferson. She was a longtime bookkeeper for several automobile dealerships in Newnan, starting with Dykes Cadillac which eventually became Southtowne Motors. She is survived by a son, William Shirley & his wife Leslie of Roswell; daughter, Laura VanDerwerker & her husband Greg of Kiawah Island, SC; grandchildren, Catherine VanDerwerker, Elizabeth VanDerwerker, Will Shirley, Margaret Shirley, and Laura Shirley.
