Coleen Joyce Jones, 82, of Morton, IL passed away at 10:55 pm on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. She was born on July 24, 1938 in Cazenovia, IL to Bernard F. and Della P. (Van Valey) Broers. She married Larry P. Jones on October 19, 1958 in Metamora, IL.
Surviving are her husband, Larry of Morton; two sons, Curtis (Marcy) Jones of Bloomington and Chris (Amy) Jones of Morton; one daughter, Michelle (Nick) Kopley of Glenview, IL; six grandchildren, Alexandria Jones of Bloomington, Megan Jones and Abigail Jones both of Morton, Samantha Kopley, Kyriakos Kopley, and Alexander Kopley all of Glenview, IL; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Donna Bisio.
Coleen graduated from Metamora High School in 1956. She attended classes at ICC. She worked as a secretary at Metamora High School, Bradley University, and for a time at Hallmark Metamora. She retired in 1994.
She loved her family very much and enjoyed all the time spent with them. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and all the fun she had with them.
