Colean Susie Johnson, age 80, of Britthaven Nursing Home died quietly at 1:45 p.m. on June 25, 2009 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle surrounded by her loved ones. She was born April 21, 1929 in Montgomery County, NC. She attended Stoney Fork Baptist Church, Mt. Gilead. She was the daughter of the late Walter Lee Johnson and the late Lula Rena (Tucker) Johnson. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Colon Johnson. She is survived by her Brother-Graham Johnson and wife Freida Johnson of Oakboro, N.C. Sisters-Mildred Hudson of Mt. Gilead, N.C., Elgie Kearns of Troy, N.C., Doris Lowder of Albemarle, N.C. and sister-in-law Sarah Johnson of Albemarle, NC and nieces and nephews.
