Coke Peters December 14, 1948-January 20, 2018 Coke was born in Colby, Kansas on December 14, 1948, to Orville and Rita Madsen. The family (including brothers Doug, Tom and Larry) moved to Arvada where they had purchased a 10-acre farm. Coke grew up barrel racing, skiing and enjoying Colorado’s great outdoors. She received her Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology, and her remarkable career as a speech language pathologist spanned nearly 43 years. She has advocated for thousands of children with special needs, and has touched countless lives with her love and kindness. She is survived by her son, Cooper, her daughter-in-law, Meaghan, her daughter, Breanna, her son-in-law, Brian, her four beautiful grandchildren, her partner, Dick, her brothers Tom and Larry, and more friends than you can count. Coke blessed everyone she met with inspiring perspective.
