Mr. Cody Joshua Staples, 25, a resident of LaGrange, GA and a former resident of Lanett, AL passed away Friday, October 21, 2016 at the West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.
Cody was born in Opelika, AL. He attended West End Baptist Church. His favorite loves were his two daughters. He loved to watch drag racing, and working on all kind of cars. He loved pets especially pit bulls, and was an avid fan of Alabama Crimson Tide Football.
He is survived by his parents, Ken & Gail Scott Staples; two daughters, Cailynn Marie & Laila Elizabeth; sister, Brandy Staples; brother, K.C. Staples; grandmother, Grace Scott; grandfather, Lehman Scott; grandfather, Joe Staples; and aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carter Scott and his grandmother, Sarah Staples.
