It is with great sadness that family announce the passing of Cody Olson, aged 30, of Boise, Idaho, who died on December 27, 2022.
Cody was born April 27, 1992, the beloved son of Merrill Olson and Angie Olson. He was an avid outdoorsman, with a courageous spirit, who enjoyed camping, dirt biking and adventuring in the Idaho wilderness.
Cody was studying to become an estimator at his Dad’s company and was so proud to be working with his Dad. He was a humble and sincere friend. He brought joy and laughter to those around him, and helped others without expecting anything in return.
Cody lived life with a strong regard of empathy, kindness, and courage. He was a shining light to all he encountered, leaving everyone he touched with a sense of happiness and love.
Cody is survived by his parents, Merrill Olson (Jenny Olson), Angie Olson (Jeff Holmes); his grandmother, Mary Temple; aunt, Annette Segura (Nacho Segura); uncles Kelly and Marvin Olson; stepbrothers, Austin Trottier and Dawson Holmes; and many more loving family members and friends.
