Clyde William Asbill, 92, of 5635 Antioch Church Road, Seagrove, died Monday, January 22, 2018 at his residence.

Clyde was a native of Randolph County, a farmer, a veteran of the United States Army, having served in WWII, and a member of Antioch Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stacy and Ruth Moran Asbill, his wife, Vera Needham Asbill, son, Arnold Asbill, sisters, Wilma Asbill, Edna Hayes, Elsie Kiser, brothers, Paul Asbill, and Harold Asbill.

Survivors: daughters, Shirley Richardson, and husband, Daryl, Nancy Lanier, and husband, Jimmy, Cathy Luther, Tricia Rose-Deaton, and husband, Mike, all of Asheboro, son, Darrell Asbill, and wife, Inez, of Seagrove, sisters, Betty Macon, and husband, Bobby, of Seagrove, Jeanette Reeder, and husband, Winford, of Asheboro, brothers, Wade Asbill, and wife, Ether, Donald Asbill, and wife, Margie, both of Seagrove, Boyce Asbill, and wife, Betty, of Asheboro, thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren whom he considered very special.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff of Hospice of Randolph County for their care of Clyde.
