Clyde Thomas “Pete†Lewis, 77, of 253 Connector Lane, Chatham, VA, died Sunday, March 14, 2010 at his residence. Born April 27, 1932 in Pittsylvania County, he was the son of the late Linwood William Lewis and the late Mattie Shelton Lewis. He was employed by Purina Dog Food Co. Pete was married to Marie Etoyle Lewis of the residence. He was a veteran of the United States Army. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Rhonda D. Oller and husband, Cliff of KS, Tammy J. Lingad and husband, Randy of NC, Barbara Barkow and husband, Bill of NV, Becky Delameter and husband, Jim of CA and Mary Ann Jungles and husband, Tom of IL, and his sons, Thomas Keith Lewis and wife, Cathy of Keeling, Mark L. Lewis and wife, Josie of FL and Joe F. Egilske and wife, Cindy of AZ and his sister, Clara Lewis Motley of Chatham. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
