Clyde T. ‘Jiggs’ Bivens, Age 83, of Garrison, Kentucky passed away at his home Sunday February 16, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Jiggs was born at Quicks Run, Ky. May 7, 1930 to the late Harry Clarence and Virgie Hardymon Bivens.
Jiggs was a farmer all his life and was a Union carpenter working out of Portsmouth Local 437. Jiggs was of the Christian Faith and was a veteran of the United States Army in which he so proudly served.
Preceded in death beside his parents was his wife Alice McGlone Bivens in Dec. 21, 2010 3-sisters- Lillian Eloise Gottschalk, Evelyn Webster, and Wilda Janet Jenkins, also 4-brothers- Alex Ashbury Bivens, Leslie Ray Bivens, Chester ‘Chet’ Harry Bivens, and Bruce Bivens.
Surviving are many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will sadly mourn his passing.
