DURHAM- Mr. Clyde R. Sorrell, 74, passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving . Sorrell was born April 19, 1943 in Durham, NC to the late Ralph and Alma Sorrell. He graduated from Southern High School. Mr. Sorrell was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church and a charter member at Lynn’s Crossroads Ruritan Club. Clyde served the Lord singing gospel music for over 25 years. Mr. Sorrell proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and . Sorrell is preceded in death by his wife of 32 glorious years, Sharon Parrish Sorrell, his parents, Ralph and Alma Sorrell, and grandson, Harrison .
