CARDENCREEDMOOR Mr. Clyde Otis Carden, Sr., 92, of 1596 Will Suitt Road, Creedmoor, died at Durham Regional Hospital on Friday, April 15, . Carden was born in Durham to the son of the late Lucius Walter Carden and Lula Weaver Carden. He retired after more than 20 years of service as a truck driver for Nello Teer. He was a lifelong member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather He enjoyed working on small engines. He was preceded in death by his wife, Amanda Pendergraft Carden and two son-in-laws, Artis Perry and Ronnie Tilley. He is survived by one son, Clyde Otis Carden, Jr. and wife, Wanda of Bahama; three daughters, Sandra Carden Perry of Durham, Barbara Carden White and husband, Eddie of Creedmoor and Janice Tilley-Moles and husband, Robbie of Durham;one brother, Arlis w. Carden of Durham; 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
