Clyde Michael Bartlett or “Mike” passed away on February 20, 2020 at the age of 76, in Kalamazoo after a long battle with medical issues. He was born on January 7, 1944.
Mike was also known as “trouble,” and he was full of it. Mike was an amazing father. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for anyone, if he could help he was there even if it was just to supervise. He loved to watch sports of t.v. or in person, car racing was his favorite, Dale Earhardt and Dale Earhardt Jr.
He loved getting together for breakfast with his brothers, kids, nephews and nieces, and enjoying life. Mike and the love of his life, Debbie, had been married 50 years this year. He loved to make Debbie happy in any way he could, whether it was a piece of jewelry or flowers for the yard. Mike loved his Chevy “55” known as the “double nickel,” He enjoyed taking drives, taking it to car shows and seeing all other hot rods.
Mike leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years, Debbie (Egeler) Bartlett. Also surviving him are his children: Anthony Bartlett, Todd (Kimberly) Bartlett, Sharon Bowsher, Michael Bartlett; brothers: Craig Bartlett, Rex Bartlett, Larry Bartlett, Sheridan Bartlett; sisters: June Sangsland, Charlene Leighton, Millie Stinson. Clyde is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and so many lifelong friends. Clyde was preceded in death by his parents Clyde F. Bartlett and Marguerette Osborn and by two brothers.
