Clyde LaVern Kildow, 79 of Nampa, passed away Friday, December 10, 2010 at home with his family by his side.

Clyde was born June 30, 1931 in Bayard, Nebraska to Conrad and Thelma Kildow. At the age of 15, his father moved the family to Idaho on a farm in the Ten Davis area.

At age 21, Clyde proudly served his country in the Korean Conflict. Upon returning home, he met the love of his life, Ilene Morris and they were married on January 14, 1955 in Caldwell. Clyde was a devoted husband and became the loving father of one daughter and four sons.

Clyde worked for Idaho Concrete and Pipe Company and Amcor until his retirement. He was an avid hunter & fisherman and loved camping with his family; especially riding the four-wheeler with his wife.

Clyde was very much loved and will be greatly missed.

Clyde is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ilene; his daughter, Sandra (Terry) Helzer of Meridian; four sons, Gary (Sue) Kildow of Caldwell, Ted (Linda) Kildow and Don (Patty) Kildow all of Nampa, and Terry (Kathy) Kildow of Crouch; his mother, Thelma; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a sister; 3 brothers; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, a sister and a great-granddaughter.
