Clyde J. Lageman, age 83, of Demotte, passed away at Crestmark of Roselawn on Friday January 30, 2009. He was born May 25, 1925 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Clyde and Elizabeth (Carter) Lageman. Clyde lived in the DeMotte area since 1993 and had also lived in Portage and North Carolina. On April 16, 1984 he married Sue Gillispie who passed away August 27, 1997. Clyde was a truck driver and also served his country in both the Navy and Air Force during World War II.
Clyde is survived by 8 children: John Clyde (Wendy) Ryles-Mount Eden, KY, Penny (Troy) Kilpatrick-Hendersonvill, NC, David (Joan) Justus-Philedelphia, PA, Sherry (Robert) Mayernik-DeMotte, IN, Annette Webb-Clinton, GA, Mike (Kim) Justus-Yellville, AR, William Carter-Gainesveille, TX, & Rhoe (Wanda) Justus-Mooresville, NC. He has 30 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Clyde is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and 1 granddaughter.
