Clyde Francis Bongiovanni, age 69, died unexpectedly July 13, 2015. He was the devoted husband of Theresa Frances (David) Bongiovanni. Born in Plymouth, MA on January 27, 1946, son of the late Louis and Antonina (Gallerani) Bongiovanni. He was educated in Plymouth and was a graduate of Plymouth North High School, Class of 1964 and Lowell Tech Institute where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. For most of his life Clyde worked in construction for the Laborer’s Union, Local #721. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was a member of the Plymouth Rod and Gun Club as well as the Young America Club, where he also worked as bartender. Besides leaving his wife Terry of 32 years, he was the loving father of Michael Bongiovanni of Plymouth and Amanda Bongiovanni and her husband Donald Valenzano of Sagamore Beach. He was the cherished brother of Paul Bongiovanni and his wife Linda of Portsmouth, RI. He’s also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
