Clyde E. Brooks, 64, Anderson, passed away February 13, 2008 at his residence after a brief illness.
He was born August 10, 1943 in Plainfield, Indiana, and resided in Anderson most of his life. Clyde retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors in 1996 after 30 years of service.
He was an Arsenal Tech High School graduate. He served his country in the US Air Force. He was a member of the UAW Local #662.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carol Tetrick Brooks; children, Philip Tina Brooks of Anderson, Clarence E. Brooks of Anderson and Deanna Brooks of Anderson; siblings, Shirley Tom Tranbarger of Pendleton, Douglas Brooks of Georgia, Marlene Mundell of Pendleton and Debbie Jim Beaty of Fishers; Grandchildren, James Sidwell, Shelby Brooks, Bryson Brooks, Cassidi Brooks, Savannah Brown, Colton Brooks Miranda Emmons and Clarence Brooks; several nieces and nephews.
Also surviving is special friend, Stan Holland. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosie Byrd McLemore and father, Henry Brooks.
