Clyde D. Reece, 78, formerly of Westminster, died Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at the Golden Living Center in Gettysburg, PA. Born January 25, 1937 in Nashville, TN, he was the son of the late Hillary and Ethel Reece. He was the former husband of 38 years to Stella Reece.
Before retiring he owned and operated Reece Floor Covering. He served in the Navy from 1954-1962 during the Korean War “Forgotten War”. He was a member of the American Legion No. 120 in Taneytown and life member of the League of Maryland Horsemen. He was an avid fox hunter, enjoyed spending time with his family and horseback riding.
He is survived by a daughter Dawn Reece and companion Bill Steele of Taneytown, sons and daughters-in-law Mark and Sandy Reece of Bonneville, PA and Joel L. and Carolyn Reece of New Oxford, PA, 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
