Penton retired from the U.S. Navy at Mayport Naval Station after faithfully serving his country for over twenty-two deceased is survived by: his wife – Laura J. Penton of Carriere MS; his daughters – Teresa Penton-Goodale and Sandra Penton; his sons – Allen Melisa Penton and Clyde Lisa Penton Jr.; his step-sons – David Candice Jarrett and Neil Jarrett; and his step-daughter – Katie Jarrett; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his sisters – Margaret Jean Smith and Ernestine Morrison .The deceased is preceded in death by: his parents – A.Z. and Emma Penton; two brothers – Aubrey Penton and Mike Penton; and step-son – Jonathan Andrew Andy Jarrett. .
