Cloeita York Davis, 81, died Monday, September 16, 2019, at her home in Oxford, MS..M.. Steve Quarles officiating…M. until 7:30 P.M..Born in the Denmark Community in Lafayette County, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her former husband, Thomas W. Davis. She was a member of Springdale Freewill Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. As a dedicated mother and loving grandmother, her love for her family was immeasurable. She enjoyed growing roses, rocking on the front porch and especially enjoyed cooking big, family meals when everyone was together..Survivors include two daughters, Deborah D. Stevens and her husband, Leonard of Southaven, MS and Sheila Gregory and her husband, Donald of Vardaman, MS; two sons, Charles Bradford Davis of Oxford and Darrell Keith Davis of Etta, MS; a sister, Rita York Smith of Oxford; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren..
