Clifton T. “Ted” Christopher, a resident of Newnan for over 30 years, passed away Sunday morning at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Ted was respected as a wallpaper and painting contractor as well as an accomplished musician. While in his early years, Ted performed with the Blazers in and around his hometown of Blue Ridge, Georgia. Locally, he was best known as the drummer of the Newnan based band Jazmine. Ted is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton “Shorty” Christopher and Ethelene Christopher and his sister, Kay German, of Blue Ridge, Georgia. Ted is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Janett and David Blackwell of Madisonville, Tennessee, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
