Clifford Wayne Robbins, 58, of Killeen.
Clifford Wayne Robbins was born December 19, 1962, to Nathaniel and Wilhelmenia Robbins in Denison, Texas. Clifford accepted Jesus Christ and was baptized at an early age and was a member of Parkside Baptist Church. He attended various schools in Texas but graduated from Mountain Home High School in Mountain Home, Idaho in 1980.
He continued his studies at Austin College in Sherman, TX. Clifford and Patricia Dawson were married on April 25, 1987, by Pastor Joe Dawson, Sr. Clifford served in the United States Army from 1987 to 2007. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with Three Bronze Service Stars, Global War On Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, War On Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Non Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon and Overseas Service Ribbon.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Nathaniel Robbins, Jr. and brother- in- law who he considered a brother, Joe B. Dawson, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Robbins; four children; Latasha Dawson, Justin Dawson, Sr., and his wife Tabita, Kieara Johnson and her husband Timmy, and Domantra Robbins; two brothers, Romont L. Sr., and Anthony T.; sister Roxana M., and eight grandchildren which he dearly loved: Andrea, Jamall, Antanette, Ahjanae, Aaliayah, Justin Jr, Makaya, and Kimani Lee, who all knew him as ‘Mac Daddy’.
Also surviving are his “second family”; brothers James Bishop, Tommy Dawson, Terry Dawson, and Willie Dawson; Clifford always referred to his mother-in-law as his second mom, Mrs. Loretta, and sisters Retta, Zumar, Diane, Martha, Cynthia, Dalphnia, Etta, Irma, and Felicia, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
