Troy-Clifford Stan Pfeiffer Jr., 60,of Ford Avenue Troy, died Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born and resided in Troy all his life, he was the son of the late Clifford S. Pfeiffer and May (Rigley) Pfeiffer and husband of Ellen C. Walker Pfeiffer. He was a graduate of Troy High School.
Stan was a truck driver for the Watervliet Arsenal for 14 years retiring several years ago. Prior to that he was a self employed home improvement contractor.
He was a member of Pawling Avenue United Methodist Church in Troy and a US Navy veteran.
Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters, Tammy Pfeiffer Pallone of Clifton Park and Tracey Hatlee (Wayne) of Clifton Park; two sons, Clifford S. Pfeiffer III (fiance Diane Natalie) of Scotia and Jason Walker of Troy; six sisters, Eleanor Seibert of Schodack, Judith Stoehr of NYC, Brenda Young of Averill Park, Bonnie Bauer of Nassau, Sharon VanDerwerken of Poestenkill and Mary Kainer of Poestenkill; six grandchildren, Joel Pallone Jr., Karissa, Matthew, Joseph and Jacob Hatlee and Alexus Merritt; his special friends, Clifford and Frisco Ward and several nieces and nephews.
