Clifford Otis Bunch, 86, of Meredosia, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at Jacksonville Convalescent Center in Jacksonville.

He was born April 8, 1921, near Naples, the son of Joseph and Lillie Davis Bunch. He married Eileen Campbell on Nov. 20, 1943, in Jacksonville, and she preceded him in death on June 24, 2007.

He is survived by three sons and one daughter, Gary (wife, Anna) Bunch of Versailles, Karen Bettis of Toppenish, WA., Joseph (wife, Mary) Bunch of Chapin and Jack (wife, Rebecca) Bunch of New Berlin; eight grandchildren, Jerry (wife, Pam) Bunch of Rushville, Dianne Bunch of Denver, CO.; James (wife, Sheila) Bunch of Jacksonville, Kristy Bunch of Chapin, Renee Skillet of Chapin, Mike Bettis of Winchester, Teddy Bettis of Winchester and Jackie Gregory of Toppenish, WA.; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Wanda Berton of Meredosia and Helen May Buhlig of Bluffs. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ruby, Cleo and Clarence (surviving wife Rosalie Bunch of Meredosia); and two sisters, Opal Rausch and Mary Jane Bunch in infancy.

Mr. Bunch had been a farmer, worked for Russell Collison Builders for fourteen years, and then worked thirty years for Capitol Records, retiring in 2002. He enjoyed fishing and camping. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
